The goal of GCGMA is to educate and prepare the aspiring artists, songwriters,
and musicians in country, gospel and bluegrass.

We achieve these goals by networking, training and development, state competitions, showcases, fundraisers, and seminars.

GCGMA consists of some of the most talented artists in the southeast region. Our chapter is represented by artists from seven states.

Our members are given the opportunity throughout the year to showcase their talents through performing, submitting original music, videos, and CDs to be judged on the state level for the opportunity to compete for a National Title in Pigeon Forge Tennessee the first week in March . They are competing with the other state chapters from across the U.S and 3 foreign countries.
The opportunities for our member to showcase builds confidence and skills. The networking through members, fans, and industry leaders opens doors for our members to meet not only people who can help with polishing the performing skills but help with recording, TV spots, radio spots, and stage presence.
Our members meet some entertainers who can help them with advice and opportunities for advancing their goals.
